Convert-doc is pleased to announce the ability to unlock PDF files! Simple upload your existing "locked" pdf file and we will unlock it so you can download it to your computer. You can easily share it on Facebook, LinkedIn, or Google Plus.
You may be concerned about the security of uploading your documents because they travel over the internet. Convert-doc has this covered as well because our uploads use SSL, the encryption that banks use to secure their transmissions.
The PDF file exists on our server for one hour by default, after that it is automatically removed. However, you may change the duration the file is available to one day, or one month, or remove it immediately.
Note that this service only unlocks PDF files so you can edit them - it does not crack passwords or remove password protection. Sometimes PDF's are locked by the creator so the content cannot be modified. This utility removes that restriction so you can edit the PDF file.
